We know that when a patient reports a lower ASDAS score, they are likely to have a higher quality of life.³ They might report reduced fatigue, work impairment, morning stiffness and nocturnal and spinal pain.⁴

Even if a patient is experiencing no clinical symptoms, we might expect that they will still experience functional impairment as a result of radiographic progression. However, did you know that a lower ASDAS score may also result in long-term benefits for that patient?¹

In a longitudinal study of 184 patients, patients achieving lower ASDAS scores experienced less radiographic progression over time compared to patients with high disease activity.¹
